Like Grandma's

I grew up eating cajun cuisine on a regular basis. My Grandmother and Aunt were always cooking something delicious. I miss having really good cajun food now that Grandma has passed away and Aunt Gloria is disabled. I was told Papadeaux's was delicious, but I assumed it would not be like Grandma's. Well, I wanted a nice lunch, so we decided to try it Saturday 03/07/09. Boy was I ever happy I went. The brunch was all you can eat for $12.95. It was wonderful. The gumbo, cajun catfish and boiled shrimp were the highlight of the feast. After dinner I really wanted some good bread pudding. (You know like grandma made when she came to visit from New Orleans with a loaf of french bread in one hand and a bag of red beans in the other.) It was great bread pudding! It was as good as Grandma's. I have been singing your praises ever since we left the restaurant. The hostess, the waiter and the chef all did an outstanding job. Our dining experience was a memorable one!
