SUPERB CAKES!!

I have had the pleasure of tasting two of their cakes, created by Maria Velasco, and couldn't have been more pleased, and I DO LOVE CAKE! Chocolate lovers, you will be in Heaven! Her chocolate mocha cake with whipped cream frosting was FABULOUS, and NO ONE could have just one piece! Very moist, perfect density without being too heavy, and the 'frosting' of whipped cream was the perfect balance to the chocolate. Amazingly light. You can't go wrong with this! I've also had the vanilla cake with bavarian cream filling, with fondant for icing, at a recent baby shower. The cake was beautifully decorated and got rave reviews by all of the women. Very cute! The cake was very moist, and the bavarian cream filling was delicious. Perfect balance. Even though I've seen fondant on cake decorating shows, I hadn't tried it, and quite frankly, I wasn't sure it would be very edible. To my pleasant surprice, this fondant was very thin, easy to slice, and tasted great! Maria Velasco outdid herself with this, is very talented, and I recommend her cakes to Everyone!
